Call for papers
Abstracts should relate to one of the following seminar topics:
- Innovations in Transport Systems;
- Performance and quality of services for the future of cities and territories;
- Environmental impacts of transportation: externalities, energy consumption, operating and constructing energy required, land occupancy, etc.;
- Economic and financial evaluation of transportation management systems (infrastructures and services).
People interested in presenting a contribution to the scientific seminar are invited to submit an abstract according to the following instructions.
Abstracts (no more than 500 words in length) should be submitted in electronic form through the page submission and must be submitted by midnight on 4 July 2011 (extended to July 15). Authors are also requested to provide abstract keywords (no more than 3). All contributions and presentations must be in English.
The submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the members of the Scientific Committee and by additional experts and professionals of international caliber invited to assist the committee. All abstracts will be evaluated by at least two reviewers. The authors of the selected abstracts will be invited to present their research at the conference’s oral sessions. Preprints of abstracts will be distributed at the Conference. Successful authors will be notified by 30th of July 2011.
Full paper submission
A limited number of high quality works presented during the conference will be invited to submit a full paper for possible publication in a printed ISBN book.The selection of works will be notified by 30th of October 2011. Full papers should be submitted by 20th of December 2011.
Full paper format and length will be provided to authors together with the notification of selection for final paper submission.
